Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve, in the city’s northern reaches, is one of the largest urban wilderness areas in the United States and features more than 60 miles of trails through diverse and scenic desert terrain. In the East-Shea Corridor Scottsdale, access to these trailheads can be gained through the communities of Scottsdale Mountain and Hidden Hills. Nearby is the world-renowned Mayo Clinic.

Scottsdale area Schools

In addition to world-class health care careers and treatment opportunities, you’ll find many of Arizona’s finest public and private schools. Desert Mountain High School (DMHS), opened in 1995, is located at 120th and Via Linda and serves a community which strongly supports the school system. Also within minutes is the renowned Notre Dame Preparatory campus. The Basis School, located at 136th Street and Via Linda, provides one of the finest preparatory environments for kids 6-12 grade.

 

Golf and Area Resorts
