Realtor Valarie Miceli has joined Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate. She will be working alongside Dori Wittrig and the Sonoran Home Team. She comes from an impressive background in the hotel industry. “Valarie’s hospitality experience and the discipline gained from managing one of the Phoenix area’s most recognized hotels makes her perfectly suited for the real estate industry. Ms. Miceli recently retired from Hilton Hotels after 36 years in hotel management. She was most recently General Manager of the Embassy Suites Phoenix Biltmore Hotel. Embassy Suites is a division of Hilton Hotel Corporation. She was with Embassy Suites Hotels for 27 years. Valarie was recognized as General Manager of the Year in 2015 for Hilton Hotels in the Americas with 350 or fewer guest rooms. Valarie has been involved in the local hotel industry since 1993. She served on the board of directors for the Valley Hotel and Resort Association since 1994 and served as that board’s President 1996/97. She also served on the boards of directors for the Arizona Hotel and Lodging Association and for the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau.
In 2001, Valarie Miceli was appointed by the Governor of Arizona to the Arizona Tourism and Sports Authority where she served until 2003. Additionally, Valarie currently serves on a Foster Care Review board for Maricopa County. She is a graduate of Scottsdale Leadership class XXV. Valarie Miceli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Washington State University. Valarie has lived in Scottsdale since 1993, she is married to Ken Miceli and they have one son, Dmitriy.
