The challenges for most small business owners are increasing as the COVID-19 situation progresses. The day-by-day decision to remain open or to close, and the struggle to secure products necessary to continue operating add to the stresses of the moment.
The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce has numerous resources for small business owners. Over the weekend, they offered free desks for people who found themselves working from home for the first time and no desk to set up an office. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Chamber employee Paige Lorentzen hosts a bi-weekly podcast for the organization called FountainCast. In the last episode, she interviewed Mayor Ginny Dickey about updates in Fountain Hills regarding the response to COVID-19 in our community. She also interviewed Chamber CEO and President Betsy LaVoie. LaVoie shared a wide range of valuable resources that might help local small businesses weather the storm of this disruptive situation.
