Spring has sprung, meaning it’s pedal to the metal for the Fountain Hills Collector Car Show. For automobile enthusiasts and do-it-yourselfers who love collector vehicles or vintage muscle cars, this will be the ultimate dream. The Fountain Hills Collector Car Show will feature over 500 cars from American muscle cars, classics, hot rods, and foreign imports lined up on both sides of the Avenue of the Fountains in downtown Fountain Hills.
There will be live music from local musicians who will set the tempo for the event. From electrified strings to classic rock, the Fountain Hills Collector Car Show musical line-up will have something for everyone. The musical acts will consist of: School of Rock Sugar Skulls, a teenage punk rock and hard rock band with musical influences of Nirvana and Green Day; Good Boy Daisy, a 3 girl and 2 boy ensemble whose sound is a gutsy fast-paced style; Blacksmith Hand, a classic 60s and 70s rock band; and Tommy Holloway, an accomplished vocalist that performs a variety of musical genres.
Vendors will be set up on the median along the beautiful red brick walk ways to showcase their goods, and of course there will be a beer garden serving beer, wine and other adult beverages for our visitors. The musical entertainment, beer garden, and food provided by Phil’s Filling Station will run from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Car Check-In is from 8:00 to 10:00 am, and the car show will be from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The pre-registration for the car show is $35.00 before April 13th, and $40.00 on the day of the show. The first 100 pre-registered car entries will receive a leather auto bag which is a $35 value. All proceeds from the Fountain Hills Collector Car Show will be donated to Make-A-Wish Arizona and other local Rotary Charities.
