As the summer heats up, the River of Time Museum is ready to help you and your family cool down. Inside the museum, temperatures are just right for pre-school playtimes, grade school summer camp, and exclusive behind the scenes tours.
Come on over to River of Time Museum with your little ones! Younger children ages 3 to 5 will be awed and entertained from 10:00 -10:45 am on the following Saturdays: June 2, July 7, August 4, and Sept 1. The little ones will enjoy a special tour of the museum followed by stories, games, activities and crafts relating to the Sonoran Desert. Siblings are welcome, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Love the idea of escaping to another place in time? Join the crew at the River of Time Museum for some amazing adventures as they journey back in time and to the stars! The Time Travelers Summer Camps will be launching in June with a choice of two sessions for students in grades three through five. Sessions will run from June 4 -7, or June 25 -28 from 9:00 to 11:30 am. The cost for the four-day program is $70 for museum members and $75 for non-members. Want to see “behind the scenes” at the River of Time Museum? The museum is offering an exclusive behind the scenes tour for adult residents to learn about the inner workings of the museum, which includes a tour of the collections vault, exploration of what’s involved in exhibit design, and meeting face to face with the executive director. Tours are by appointment. The cost for a tour is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
