What should you take to that New Year’s Eve party that won’t contribute to the holiday sugar overload from which we are all recovering?
Keep it simple and yummy with just three ingredients.
Use either a beautiful serving plate or a slate cheese tray. Place a block of cream cheese or a wedge or two of brie cheese in the center. Pour a jar of delectable pepper jelly over the top of the cheese so that it runs over the edges and onto the plate.
Place crackers along the outer edges of the plate or place in a beautiful bowl on the side. Bonus points if you use gluten-free crackers to put a smile of the face of those who cannot eat gluten.
If pepper jelly is not your “jam”, trade it out for blackberry jam, or make it hot and sour by adding cranberry relish to the pepper jelly. Get creative and make it fun.
