The Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts is one of the original traditions of our community and it’s coming this weekend! In the 44 years since it began, it has grown from 60 artists and artisans to over 500 from all over the world. It has earned a reputation as one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the entire Southwest! It is a perfect example of the arts-oriented culture of Fountain Hills.
The festival lasts for three days and spans most of Avenue of the Fountains, Saguaro Boulevard for the entire length of Fountain Park, behind the shops at Plaza Fountainside. You will find hundreds of booths of original fine art, sculptures, painting, jewelry, clothing, crafts, food items and so much more. Visitors return year after year to find unique offerings and quality craftsmanship.
Another fun part of the festival experience is the variety of live musical acts, abundant local food trucks and booths serving breakfast and lunch, a beer garden, and shaded seating areas to eat or rest.
The festival attracts 200,000 visitors who do their holiday shopping, purchase art and to find unique-themed holiday ornaments. Regardless of your budget, you’ll find something you love and be able to get a jump start on your holiday gift list.
Mark your calendar for November 9-11 for this event. Booths open at 10:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM each day. Admission is free, and parking is free!
The festival is the major revenue source for the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce. They are experts at details that make this a tremendous experience for visitors, no matter how far they drove to get here.
