It is not a secret that Americans love our ice cream. On average, we each consume 23 gallons of the creamy treat per year, contributing more than $11 billion to the national economy. Our love affair with this cold confection inspired President Reagan, in 1984, to designate July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month as National Ice Cream Day.
Fountain Hills residents have some great choices in town when it comes to ice cream.
