CLEAN SURROUNDINGS REDUCE STRESS AND ENHANCE WELL-BEING
Monica and Claudio Lazzatti, owners and operators of MCL Cleaning Service, are not in the “lick and a promise” dusting and vacuuming business. Since 1989, they have developed a superior cleaning business with well-trained staff who have an eye for the details that matter most to their loyal customers.
As a hands-on manager, Monica periodically inspects the work of her cleaning crews to make sure the company’s standards are maintained. “We know the house, the homeowner, and his or her special likes and dislikes. We do general cleaning with each visit, plus offer an additional deep clean like baseboards or fans so that over the span of the season, we essentially deep clean the entire home.”
Claudio has specialized cleaning equipment to manage the logistics of maintaining Fountain Hills’ complex southwestern-styled homes. Another “extra” that MCL’s staff performs from time to time is cleaning under and behind beds, which can be difficult for homeowners to manage in our dusty southwestern climate.
“We know that life can sneak up on us, so I call the night before service as a reminder,” says Monica. “These calls also keep the lines of communication open to make sure everyone is satisfied with our service. We treasure these relationships because personal referrals have sustained our company’s growth for more than 30 years.”
MCL Cleaning Service has a unique approach for its commercial clients as well. They clean offices like they were cleaning a home. That means attention to the bottom rungs on chairs, cobwebs in the corners, baseboards, and lampshades. “We want all our clients to look forward to our service and to feel comfortable and relaxed in their surroundings when we’ve gone. We feel honored by our long-term relationships. It makes our work very rewarding.”
Monica offers three tips for homeowners to stay on top of their home in between professional cleanings.
- Disinfect your disposal. To get rid of odors, drop in a cut-up lemon, some salt, and a few ice cubes. The lemon deodorizes, and the ice and salt clean away residue.
- Use microfiber cloths instead of paper towels. When wet, they sanitize and clean floors, counters, glass, and tile, and eliminate the need for other cleaning products. They’re reusable (machine-wash, hang to dry) and
- Zap the sponge. We all know that sponges can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Disinfect yours every night by squeezing it out and microwaving it on high for a minute. When it’s shredded and smelly, replace it.
