Meet John Weil

John’s energy, passion, and community commitment make him a true representation of a professional real estate agent. Raised in the Lamorinda area of Northern California, a community of three towns about twenty miles east of San Francisco, John comes from a family network of real estate agents, designers, and contractors.

 

His Father is a successful real estate agent of over 30 years and a founding partner of a leading Brokerage in Orinda, California. His Mother is a designer for a contractor and oversees residential remodels and renovations. He may not have realized this while growing up, but John absorbed an incredible amount of knowledge just by being around the constant talk of homes, construction, floor plans, escrows, and all that goes with real estate. Throughout his upbringing, John survived numerous renovations of his family’s homes, and endless trips to the hardware store, lumber yards, tile, flooring, and lighting stores.

Despite growing up in the residential housing industry, John took a different career path after college. John attended California State University Chico and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s Degree in Resort and Lodging Management. He held positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts in San Francisco California and with Four Seasons Residence Club in Scottsdale Arizona. John has extensive experience making presentations, coordinating multiple parties, multitasking, and taking care of paperwork. The challenges associated with providing world-class service to high-expectation hotel guests make John’s experience in hospitality the perfect background for his role as a real estate agent. In any relationship, communication and setting expectations upfront with all parties is key.

Outside of work, John is a proud Father and Husband. John and his family lovingly call Fountain Hills home. His wife Ashley grew up in Fountain Hills and attended Arizona State University. They met while working together in San Francisco and relocated back to Arizona in 2013. The couple have four beautiful children and love spending time as a family, whether at Fountain Park, hiking in McDowell Regional Park, or just relaxing around the house beating the Arizona heat while splashing in the Pool!
