Back to School Bash: Celebrate the New School Year in Fountain Hills!

The start of the new school year is here! With Fountain Hills Unified School District kicking off classes on July 31 and Scottsdale schools following on August 4, it’s time to officially say goodbye to summer and what better way to do that than with the annual Back to School Bash?

Mark your calendars for the Back to School Bash on Friday, August 8th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Four Peaks Park. This FREE, family-friendly event hosted by the Town of Fountain Hills is the perfect way to ring in the new school year with fun, laughter, and a splash of excitement!

What to Expect:

Whether your kids are ready to burn off that back-to-school energy or you’re just looking for a fun evening outdoors, this event has something for everyone:

Water slides for all ages—including a thrilling 30-foot slide for the brave!
Obstacle courses and the hilarious Swinging Arm of Doom—expect lots of laughs (and wipeouts).
Get up close and personal with MCSO’s coolest vehicles and units, including the Bomb Squad, SWAT team, K9 unit, and yes, even a helicopter fly-in!
Don’t miss the FHUSD Dunk Tank, where you’ll get a chance to dunk your favorite school principal or administrator, talk about a cool way to start the year!

This event brings together the best of our community, families, educators, public safety teams, and local organizations all in one fun-filled evening. So grab the kids, bring some towels, and join us at Four Peaks Park to celebrate a fresh new school year and the return of routine (finally!).
