Ballet Under the Stars Returns to Fountain Hills | Free Ballet at Fountain Park

One of Fountain Hills’ favorite fall traditions returns to Fountain Park this September. Ballet Arizona’s Ballet Under the Stars brings an evening of professional dance to the heart of Fountain Hills on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

Best of all, the performance is free and open to the public.

Set against the beautiful outdoor backdrop of Fountain Park, Ballet Under the Stars offers a unique opportunity to experience a fully staged Ballet Arizona performance complete with professional dancers, costumes, music, stage lighting and the beauty of an Arizona evening.

An Evening of Ballet at Fountain Park

This year’s program will feature a mix of classical and contemporary ballet, making it an enjoyable evening whether you are a longtime ballet fan or experiencing a live performance for the first time.

Ballet Arizona has announced that the 2026 performances will include works ranging from contemporary choreography to selections from The Sleeping Beauty. Full program and casting details will be released closer to the event.

Ballet Under the Stars is also a wonderful introduction to ballet for children and families. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, settle in on the grass and enjoy an evening of dance under the Fountain Hills night sky.

• You are welcome to bring your own food or picnic.
• Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted.
• Restrooms are available at the park.
• ASL interpretation will be available during the performance.
