A Local Tradition on the Avenue of the Fountains
The Fountain Hills Farmers Market returns this fall for its fourth season, bringing together local vendors, food, and art every Wednesday from November 5 through April 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market takes place along the Avenue of the Fountains, just steps from our RE/MAX Sun Properties office.
This weekly event has become a favorite for residents and visitors who enjoy shopping local, grabbing lunch from a food truck, and enjoying the outdoor atmosphere Fountain Hills is known for.
Shop Local Every Wednesday
Each week, the market features 50 or more vendors offering everything from fresh produce and baked goods to artisan and specialty items.
Some returning favorites include:
- Arizona Farm Grow – Fresh citrus, raw honey, bee pollen, and beeswax.
- Sahara Turkish Coffee – Turkish coffee, baklava, and Middle Eastern sweets.
- Buenos Aires Empanadas – Fresh, hot empanadas.
- Alaskan Fishermen – Flash-frozen salmon, halibut, and other seafood.
There are also plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, plus homemade pet treats.
Organizer Betsy Hess credits the market’s success to the strong community support:
“The locals tell their friends and neighbors, good times spread goodwill for all,” Hess said. “The vendors can answer questions about their products and often let you test them. That personal connection makes a big difference.”
Art on the Avenue
The Art on the Avenue event takes place alongside the Farmers Market and features more than 50 artists. Visitors can browse a variety of artwork, including jewelry, paintings, photography, and handcrafted furniture.
Live music and the outdoor setting make this one of the best weekly events in Fountain Hills.
