Return to Recess Wraps up for Spring

Last week, Fountain Hills Community Services held the spring 2023 finale for the award-winning youth sports program “Return to Recess!”

The final Return to Recess activity was pickle ball, The Fountain Hills Pickleball members were host to the youth. They instructed them on the basics of serving, volleying, scoring, and most of all having fun with friends.

Another highlight was disc golf at Fountain Park hosted by the Fountain Hills Disc Golf members.

Return to Recess kick off the season with soccer instruction by the Fountain Hills Youth Soccer Club. Return to Recess meets for 8 weeks on Tuesdays, 4-5:30.

This wrapped up the Spring session of Back to Recess activities hosted by local sports clubs. The Sonoran Lifestyle Team at RE/MAX Sun Properties, who sponsored the event, provided pizzas for the young athletes on the final day.
