Hanukkah in Fountain Hills: Grand Menorah Lightings & Community Celebrations

Looking for festive ways to celebrate Hanukkah in Fountain Hills? This December, Chabad of Fountain Hills is bringing the community together with two Grand Menorah Lightings and family-friendly events filled with light, tradition, and joy.

Grand Menorah Lighting on the Avenue of the Fountains

Sunday, December 14 • 5:00 p.m.
Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, AZ

Kick off the first night of Hanukkah in the heart of Fountain Hills as a 12-foot menorah is illuminated across from the Chabad Edelman Jewish Center.

• The lighting of the giant menorah
• An LED Glow Show
• Live music and festive entertainment
• Kids’ crafts, giveaways, and prizes
• Traditional Hanukkah favorites like crispy latkes and fresh doughnuts

This event is open to all and provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the cultural richness that makes Fountain Hills such a vibrant place to live.

Hanukkah Festival in Rio Verde

Wednesday, December 17 • 4:30 p.m.
Rio Verde Fire Station #442, 17619 E. Rio Verde Drive

Chabad of Fountain Hills will also host a Hanukkah Festival in nearby Rio Verde, featuring another 12-foot menorah lighting, delicious latkes and jelly doughnuts, chocolate coins, and a live ventriloquist show for families to enjoy.

Following the festival, participants can join a Car Menorah Parade from Rio Verde to Fountain Hills. The parade will wind through downtown Fountain Hills, ending on the Avenue of the Fountains. Vehicles decorated with Hanukkah lights and symbols are welcome, and loaner car menorahs are available upon request.
