RE/MAX Sun Properties Proudly Awards Golden Eagle Scholarship to Fountain Hills Senior Addison Atkins

At RE/MAX Sun Properties, we believe strong communities are built by people who give back, lead with kindness, and invest in the future. That’s why we are proud to support local students through the Golden Eagle Scholarship program and celebrate the incredible young leaders graduating from Fountain Hills High School.

The Golden Eagle Education Foundation hosted its annual Senior Recognition Night at the Fountain Hills Community Center on Monday, April 20, bringing together local clubs, organizations, businesses, and community members to recognize the Class of 2026. The evening highlighted outstanding students through scholarships, merit awards, and academic recognition from various school departments.

This year, RE/MAX Sun Properties was honored to award a $1,000 scholarship to graduating senior Addison Atkins.

Addison’s dedication to serving others truly stood out. She spent countless hours helping the community through projects like packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child, preparing pet food donations for the local food bank, and assisting cleanup crews after church events. Her commitment to helping others reflects the kind of leadership and compassion that makes Fountain Hills such a special place to call home.

Her passion for mentorship and education also made a lasting impact. During her internship, Addison worked alongside teachers helping with 2nd and 4th grade Sunday School lessons. Even after completing the internship, she continued volunteering with the students because of the joy she found in helping them grow.

As Addison shared:

“I get to see the children grow and learn and I get to learn and grow alongside them.”

Outside of volunteering, Addison has a deep love for reading and literature. She and her friends even started their own unofficial book club and enjoy recommending books to teachers and classmates alike. Her dream is to become an editor and advocate for books that encourage people to think more deeply and see the world from new perspectives.

This fall, Addison will attend Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus to begin pursuing a degree in English.

We are incredibly proud to recognize Addison Atkins and all the amazing students from the Fountain Hills Class of 2026. Congratulations on your achievements, and we cannot wait to see the positive impact you will continue to make in the years ahead.

From all of us at RE/MAX Sun Properties, congratulations, Addison!
