FH Theater's Spring Break Camp

This March, the “We Are Monsters” Spring Break Camp will be hosted by Fountain Hills Youth Theater! If your kids are looking for something to do during the week of spring break and are interested in acting, singing, and everything theater, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

 

Sign up now for the Spring Break Theater Camp at Fountain Hills Youth Theater! Students ages 8-15 will be rehearsing for and then performing in “We Are Monsters” for family and friends. The synopsis of the musical the kids will be presenting goes as follows, according to the Theater.

 

“This hilarious new musical follows human kids into a monster cabaret filled with quirky monster characters. The adventurous humans uncover vegetarian vampires and rock n’ roll werewolves, gradually realizing there may be more to these monsters than meets the eye! Campers will not only learn how to perform in this show, but also be educated along the way with the terminology, and techniques needed to be in any production. Most importantly, these monsters and kids discover the importance of friendship and celebrating the attributes that make each of us different and unique.”

 

 

There will also be the opportunity for those students interested in the technical aspect of theater, to sign up for a tech class alongside the performance camp. These students will learn to run lights and work backstage on a live production!
