This community favorite transforms the Avenue of the Fountains into a glowing, festive wonderland filled with lights, music, family fun, and this year, a dash of Who-Ville magic from REMAX Sun Properties!

A Fountain Hills Tradition: Lighting of the Avenue
Stroll in the Glow kicks off with the beloved “Lighting of the Avenue” around 5:45 PM, led by Mayor Gerry Friedel. Visitors gather as thousands of lights shimmer to life, including the official Town of Fountain Hills Christmas Tree.
This magical moment is one of the most photographed holiday traditions in Fountain Hills and for good reason. It’s the heart of the celebration.
Santa Claus Arrives by Fire Truck
You can’t have a holiday celebration without the man in the big red suit!
Just before 6:00 PM, Santa Claus arrives on a bright red fire truck, ready for free photos provided by the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce.
Families line up early each year, so be sure to plan your stop and capture those treasured holiday memories.
Balloon Glow at the Fountain: A Nighttime Spectacle
One of the highlights of Stroll in the Glow is the spectacular Balloon Glow at the Fountain.
From 6–8 PM, tethered hot air balloons illuminate the night sky at Fountain Park, creating an unforgettable holiday backdrop.
This photogenic moment is a favorite for locals, visitors, and photographers and adds an extra layer of magic to the evening.
Family-Friendly Favorites Return
In addition to lights, music, and community festivities, Stroll in the Glow 2025 will also feature:
- Live Nativity display
- Letters to Santa station for kids
